Lilith in Taurus
Lilith in Taurus
Symbolizes jealousy, stubbornness, possessiveness, inhibition, restlessness and difficulty in changing habits.
Lilith here awakens a hunger for the material, but also for the emotional. Matter and emotion are one and the same. There is a problem with getting rid of the past, as well as difficulties in gaining emotional security, which is of utmost importance to a person.
Lessons that must be learned:
• Frequent changes of environment that must be accepted
• Acceptance of giving up everything we love – people, environments
With this position of Lilith, a person usually closes in on himself at an early age. Many childhood memories are forgotten. The problematic expression of sensuality is expressed, which can be manifested either as a strong inhibition, or as an excessive expression of it.
Strong jealousy is expressed, leading almost to a clinical picture of possessiveness. The lesson a person must learn is how to surrender – to let something go, without being stubborn and stubbornly possessive.
A person must learn that changes are inevitable and fully accept them – to accept risk, unknown circumstances, new people, landscapes, uncertain goals. As for the material, the person is contradictory – he likes and dislikes material, money at the same time. Financial problems are common.
A person must learn that achieving stability, which he badly needs, requires changes, and not the constant need for compromise in order to “maintain peace in the house”. Very often, a person will do exactly that, but by doing so, he only postpones what is inevitable – change.
In karmic inheritance, a person probably carries a very heavy sexual inheritance. The lesson that must be learned, and therefore fully accepted, is: sensuality under control, acceptance of possession and then loss – both materially and emotionally.
Lilith in Taurus further illuminates the conflict between the desire for security and the inner need for change that the soul tries to deny. A person may appear calm and collected on the outside, while on the inside there is a constant struggle between holding on and letting go. This inner tension is often projected onto close relationships, especially partner relationships, where love and control go hand in hand.
Emotional security, although desired, also becomes a source of fear – because as soon as it is acquired, there is an unconscious doubt about its permanence. A person may tend to create emotional dependence, which leads to patterns of behavior in which the partner is idealized or bonded through a sense of duty rather than love. In this position, Lilith seeks to confront her own fears of loss, abandonment, and loneliness.
